What a peaceful place to worship on a Poya Day....

This ancient temple has been built on a rocky hill. The dagoba is located on the top. Steps are there to the top with handrail to support you. Place is not child-safe; children should not be left without close attention. Anyway, it is not a place to play, but a place to worship. We went in the morning; therefore it was quite comfortable because there was not reflecting heat from rocks.

If you are driving, take Anguruwatota Road from Raigama Junction on Panadura - Horana Road since the road condition is good.
